Visitor Berths

Our dedicated Visitor Pier is suitable for vessels up to 14m. We also have a limited number of berths for larger vessels.

Things to note:

  • All vessels require insurance to cover any third-party loss and legal liability of NZD $5million

  • 48 Hours’ notice is required to cancel or shorten visitor berth bookings

  • Extension of bookings is subject to availability, advance notice is recommended should you wish to stay longer

  • Availability for visiting vessels over 14m can be dependent on long term berth holders going away

  • All visiting vessels are limited to a maximum stay of three months out of any 12

  • Read our Marina Rules

Electrical Connections:

  • Any lead plugged into Shore Power Must bust have current Tag ‘n’ test (leads must be tested every 12 months)

  • Any vessel or unattended connection must have a current NZ Electrical Warrant of Fitness (EWoF)

Shower & Laundry Facilities:

  • Access to Showers and Laundry is Via Access Card ($20 Deposit Applies)

  • Showers and Laundry Machines are Coin Operated by $1 & $2 Coins.
    $1/$2 per shower, $3 per wash, $2 per 20 min drying
    (Cash out / Coin swap available at the Marina Office)

Parking:

  • Free Public Car Parking available, normal Nelson City Council Parking rules apply
